I moved from TX to CA in 2005 and embraced everything about the healthy beach lifestyle. I started drinking kombucha shortly thereafter and could feel a difference in my energy levels and overall well being.
I’ve always loved to entertain at home and have friends over often. I found myself experimenting with different cocktail recipes. One evening I ran out of mixers for my vodka and decided to try mixing it with kombucha. My friends loved the combination of vodka and kombucha.
I had tried many of the ready to drink canned cocktails on the market and they were either heavy on sugar and calories or had very little flavor. My passion for the last year has been creating a drink that tastes like a craft cocktail in a can that packs a lot of flavor but not sugar or calories.

I’m Dan Choi, the founder and CEO of The NA Beverage Company, and this brand is deeply personal to me. After years in the corporate world, I came to a difficult realization—I had spent much of my life as a high-functioning alcoholic, using alcohol to cope with stress and fit into societal norms. Three years ago, I made the decision to get sober, and it changed everything. This journey led me to question not just my own relationship with alcohol, but the way society often leans on it as a default in social settings.
I founded The NA Beverage Company with a clear mission: to create beverages that not only taste great but are genuinely good for you. We are proudly women owned. OROMA® began with a group of friends from San Diego, CA, traveling the world, and burning the midnight oil. Drinking Espresso Martinis and Carajillos deep into the jungle nights of Tulum or the breezy Mykonos Scorpios Sunday's, our idea came to life in a simple phrase from our friend Hannah: "Why don't we make these in a can?" in that moment OROMA was born and we spent two years perfecting a coffee cocktail worthy of an international experience.

Spencer Antle, founder and creative director of Island Company Rum, is a multifaceted entrepreneur with a passion for crafting exceptional experiences. His journey began in Los Angeles as an award-winning television commercial director, earning accolades such as Telly Awards and ADDY Awards for his work.
In 2002, Antle ventured into the fashion industry by launching Island Company, a lifestyle brand that started with a line of women's swimwear and expanded into men's and women's travel apparel, accessories, and more. Under his leadership, Island Company won 6 years in a row in Inc. Magazine's Top 5000 Fastest Growing Companies.
Antle's creative vision extended to the world of spirits with the creation of Island Company Rum in 2018. His goal was to design "the smoothest rum on the planet," resulting in a product that has garnered numerous awards, including Double Gold at The SIP Awards and Best Gold Rum at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Global Luxury Masters, Global Travel Retail Masters and most recently the highly coveted SIP Innovation Award.
Yamazakura Whisky is a product of Sasanokawa Shuzo, a family-owned distillery in Koriyama, Japan, with a history stretching back to 1765. The company began as a sake brewery, earning recognition for its fine craftsmanship and use of local ingredients, particularly the pure water from the nearby mountains. Over centuries, Sasanokawa refined its brewing techniques, and in 1946, it expanded into whisky production, marking a significant step in its evolution. This transition allowed the company to blend its mastery of fermentation and aging with the art of whisky-making.
The Asaka Distillery, revived in 2016, has since been home to the creation of Yamazakura Whisky. The distillery combines the time-honored brewing traditions of sake with innovative whisky production methods. Unlike the large-scale distilleries that dominate Japan’s whisky landscape, Sasanokawa prides itself on its small-batch, hand-crafted approach. This artisan mindset ensures that each bottle of Yamazakura is produced with meticulous attention to detail, from selecting the ingredients to aging the whisky under the influence of Koriyama’s unique climate.
